CD “Morgenlicht - Stories of the Bandoneon on Travel”

"Morgenlicht" is the title of the CD produced by Facundo Barreyra. It was recorded between March and April of 2013 in Buenos Aires, Argentina by Nestor Diaz -sound engineer of “El Valle de la Infancia” and "Albores", the last album of Dino Saluzzi, at ECM Records -.

On the CD Morgenlicht there are recorded various duos, trios and quartets with guitar, flute and piano; where the bandoneon is the main actor in a musical journey that leads the audience from classical Tango to music of Astor Piazzolla and Argentinian folklore. Further there will be found a duet with a cello, playing a Jazz ballad and original music in a series of improvisations, where german photographer Lisa Franz recites two poems "An die Musik"-

and "Morgenlicht"- by Austrian poet Stefan Zweig -,

which names the CD.

The presentation of the album was realized in Croatia and Germany in the month of June in 2013. The album was released in Buenos Aires with different guest artists in August of 2013.

The CD was presented in 2014 in Quilmes – Buenos Aires Province -  in
Sutivan - Croacia -, Köln - Germany, Northeim - Germany, Hamburg - Germany, Lucerne - Switzerland and in the City of Buenos Aires - Argentina.
